Reading Festival on Sale Soon!

So, its less than a week before the tickets go on sale and already we are getting reports here at reading-festival.net that people are being scammed out of ticket money!

Lets look at last year for example, over 5,000 people got scammed for tickets and never got in, thats just the number that showed up at the reading festival door without tickets, in reality it could have been much more but lets just say it was a nice round five thousand people.  Now lets assume that they paid an average of £200 per person, thats ONE MILLION POUNDS that got scammed off innocent festival goers, as an absolute minimum. In reality I suspect that the actual amount was closer to two million pounds.

How does this happen? Well, google allow ANYONE to advertise on googles homepage without checking them out first and that means that if you pay any random website for your tickets, chances are you are going to lose out, not receive your tickets, be dissappointed and above all else, lose your hard earned money!

How should you avoid getting scammed? Well, its quite simple, ONLY EVER BUY off the official outlets, such as ticketmaster.co.uk, seetickets.com and if you have to buy off the secondary market then only buy off sites that actually have history.

Check back every day this week as we will be reviewing the best sites in the secondary market and letting you guys know which ones should be trusted with your money, and please , please remember that if you buy off one of the sites that we dont recommend, chances are you will lose your money and not get into reading festival!
